| 7 lb. True single wire
alternator, which uses only one # 10 wire hooked directly to the battery
or hot buss bar, no need for an on/off switch as it will start all by
itself after it spins up to approximately 3,000 rpm. The voltage output is regulated by a small light-weight regulator mounted directly to the back of the alternator which supplies 14.5 volts and 38 amps to your electrical system. The Mounting Bracket assembly is high strength aluminum which is designed to bolt directly to the right side of the water pump. This one bracket will bolt up to any small block and big block Chevy engine with a short water pump. The drive pulleys are high strength deep groove billet aluminum. The water pump drive pulley will fit the 5/8" and 3/4" water pump shaft. The alternator kit comes complete with all parts and hardware needed to bolt up to your engine with ease and simplicity. This unit will not effect your present pulley arrangement. The only change is that your fan blade will move forward the width of the alternator water pump drive pulley. Replacement parts are available.
